LOCTITE 243 is a medium strength threadlocking adhesive designed to secure metal nuts, bolts and threaded fasteners against loosening caused by vibration. Suitable for general maintenance and assembly, it works on steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces.

Its oil-tolerant formulation accommodates minor contamination on fasteners, while allowing removal with ordinary hand tools when servicing is required.
